You are welcome in our reading room on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9.30am to 4.30pm You do need to make an appointment – you can choose a full day, a morning (from 9.30am to 1pm.) or an afternoon (from 1 to 4.30pm).
Email your request to letterenhuis_leeszaal@antwerpen.be one week in advance, stating the date and time you wish to visit. You can also schedule multiple visits right away.
In your email, please state the archival material you wish to view, including references from the Agrippa database. Also, if you want to see documents you have already consulted that were set aside for you in the reading room on a previous visit, please mention that.
You will receive a reply from us confirming your appointment.

Closing days 2024
In 2024 the reading room will be closed on:
- Mondays, Fridays and at weekends
- Monday April 1st (Easter Monday)
- Wednesday May 1st (Labour Day)
- Thursday May 9th (Ascension Day)
- Monday May 20th (Whitsuntide Monday)
